Streambox is a free mp3-player for the web that can be used on any site no matter what kind of system you have. What it does is play mp3s streaming, which means that it buffers a part of the song and then starts to play while dowloading the rest of the song.
The songs are simply specified in an xml-file where you specify the visible text and filetarget. you can also configure the player to look more or less any way you like. You can choose the colors and transparency of all objecs of the player and even include images as background or logo. All texts used in the player are also changable so you can have the player in you native tongue or just say something different. Read more about configuration under "Usage".
The player also features play, pause, stop, fast forward, rewind, start over, repeat, continous play and volume control.

Streambox 1.1 is out and besides minor bugfixes there is one new thing you can do with your streambox. If you need to centralize or for some other reason need to have your streambox_config.xml-file in a specific folder, simply add the querystring "&config_path=/your/path/" (without quotes) to the loading path and you're in business!
